Why should developer be taken off parts promptly once the examination is finished?
- A. To keep the ambient light reading below 2 fc
- B. Because it becomes harder to remove the longer it stays on the part ✓
- C. To restore the fluorescent brightness
- D. Because the developer will otherwise absorb moisture and change the concentration of the aqueous developer bath at the next station
- E. To recover the developer powder for reuse
Delay lets the coating bond to the surface, which turns a simple rinse into a much harder cleaning job. ASTM E165 Section 8.10
