Terms of Service

1. Who we are
AssetronX provides practice question banks and mock examinations for professional inspection, corrosion, NDT, procurement and management certifications. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean AssetronX; "you" means the person using the service.
2. Who you are buying from
Purchases are processed by the merchant of record named at checkout, who acts as the seller for every transaction. Your purchase contract, invoice and any statutory rights arising from the sale are with them and governed by their terms. We never see or store your card details. These terms govern your use of the service once access is granted.
3. Your account
You need an account to use AssetronX. You must give an email address you control, and keep your credentials to yourself.
An account is for one person. Access is personal and cannot be shared, transferred, resold or used by more than one individual. Accounts showing use by more than one person may be suspended, and the service limits simultaneous use to one device at a time.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
4. What you are buying
A study pack for one question bank: a set number of study days — currently 90, 120 or 180, depending on the size of the bank and as shown on the product page at the time of purchase — to be used within 12 months of the purchase date. This is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. Where a certification includes mock examinations or exhibits, the product page says so at the time of purchase.
A study day is counted once for each calendar day, measured in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, from 00:00 to 24:00), on which you start a study, practice or mock session in that certification or answer one of its questions. Signing in, viewing your dashboard or leaving a page open does not use a study day, and studying longer on a day already counted costs nothing extra. Your dashboard shows how many study days you have used, how many remain, and the date your pack expires.
Access ends at whichever comes first: the end of the UTC day on which you use your last study day, or 12 months after purchase. Study days not used by then lapse; they are not refunded or carried over. If you buy the same pack again, the new study days are added to those you have left and the 12-month period restarts from the new purchase. Extensions may be offered at the price shown at the time.
If your examination is rescheduled to a date after your 12-month period ends, or something outside your control prevents you from using the pack before it expires, write to us before it expires and we will extend the period once at no charge to cover the new sitting.
5. What you may and may not do
You may use the material to prepare for the certification examination it covers. You may not:
- share your account, or give anyone else access
- copy, download, scrape, republish, distribute or resell any part of the content, in any medium
- use automated tools, scripts or bulk methods to collect questions, answers or explanations
- take screenshots, photographs or recordings for any purpose other than your own private study
- attempt to reverse engineer, circumvent or disable any access control, watermark or usage limit
- use the material to build, train or improve a competing product, dataset or machine learning model
Fair usage limits apply to the number of questions served in a period. They exist to prevent bulk collection, and are set well above normal study patterns.
6. Watermarking and monitoring
Every page of question content carries a watermark identifying your account, including your email address. It is visible on screen and appears in any screenshot, photograph or recording.
We log usage against your account — sessions started, questions served, answers submitted, study days used and timings — to count your study days, to enforce the limits in section 5 and to detect bulk collection. If content traceable to your account appears outside the service, we may suspend the account and pursue remedies. By using AssetronX you consent to this watermarking and logging.
7. About the content
Questions, answers, explanations and worked solutions are written independently by AssetronX. They are not reproductions of, or extracts from, any standard, code or examination. Where a question refers to a published standard, it does so by name and clause for reference only. We do not reproduce code text, tables or figures. You need your own licensed copy of any standard you are studying.
AssetronX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by or connected to API, AMPP, ASME, ASNT, CIPS, ISO, PMI, SHRM or any other standards body or certification authority. Their names and marks belong to them and are used only to identify the examinations our material prepares you for.
We do not guarantee that you will pass any examination. The material is preparation, not a qualification, and no result is promised or implied.
We aim for accuracy and revise continuously, but errors are possible and standards are revised. Always check against the current standard. Report anything you disagree with and we will review it.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates and faults happen. We may add, revise, correct or remove questions during your access period, including where a standard is revised. Question counts shown at purchase are accurate at that time and may change as content is corrected.
9. Refunds
Refunds are handled by the merchant of record under their refund policy and any statutory rights you have. Our refund policy is set out on the Refunds page and forms part of these terms.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access without refund if you breach section 5 or 6, particularly for sharing an account or collecting content in bulk. You may stop using the service at any time. Because a pack is sold as a set number of study days within a fixed period rather than as a subscription, stopping early or leaving study days unused does not trigger a refund beyond section 9.
11. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for examination results, for decisions taken in reliance on the material, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the access in question.
The material is examination preparation. It is not engineering advice and must not be relied on for decisions about real plant, equipment or personnel safety.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the revised terms. Access you have already paid for stays governed by the terms you accepted at purchase, unless a change gives you at least as much access as you had before.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
